Sommerkonsert: “Jazz på kryss og tvers” – Simen Kiil Halvorsen Kvartett

This fine jazz quartet consists of members ranging from their early 20s to late 30s. They have in common that they are all relatively young and, at the very least, promising, and all either live in or come from Stavanger. The quartet offers playful interaction, energy, a high level of performance, and improvisation. They will present some of their own compositions, as well as interpretations of songs from the American jazz tradition. This promises to be an exciting concert filled with contagious joy of playing.

The café opens the lounge on the first floor at 12:00 on concert days and remains open until the concert ends. In the lounge, you can purchase drinks, cheese & cold cuts, and waffles. You can pre-order drinks for the intermission, when purchasing concert tickets on the website.
