Swan Lake Meets Norwegian Folktales
Step into the magical forest where the swans and the Nix await! The National Ballet performs an intense interpretation of the ballet of all ballets – Swan Lake.
A long-awaited visit from the National Ballet is on its way to Stavanger. They bring with them A Tale of Swan Lake – choreographer Cina Espejord’s twist on the world’s most famous ballet.
This story is about Odette and her younger brother Siegfried, the sibling love between them – and the unknown.
Swan Lake for the Whole Family
Here you will find swans and pointe dancing set to Tchaikovsky’s legendary music, but also the Nix, who can lure you toward the deep pond in the forest. What could have happened to Odette – if her brother manages to find her after all these years? And what is it that draws some toward darkness and the unknown?
