Sommerkonsert: Marius Samuelsen Trio

You’re in for a treat with this Saturday’s concert featuring Marius Samuelsen. Born and raised in Stavanger, he won Idol Norge at the age of 18 with two self-penned songs in the final. Shortly after, he broke ties with the major label industry and decided to make music on his own terms.

In October 2024, he released his debut album Bear Street on his own record label. The track Dancing Lessons was on NRK P1’s A-list for an impressive 24 weeks, and just before Christmas, it climbed to 5th place on the Norwegian radio charts. In April 2024, Samuelsen played his first official concerts in several years, selling out back-to-back shows in his hometown. Since then, he has performed to packed venues in Oslo and the Faroe Islands, most recently impressing at his album concert in Maskinhallen at Tou Scene in March of this year.
