The orchestra’s composer-in-residence, the Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, is featured with her powerful cello concerto Before we fall, in its Scandinavian premiere, performed by Johannes Moser, followed by Gustav Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 1.
