Stavanger Rockfest 2026 – Line-up Announced!

2 days, 2 stages, heavy riffs and an incredible atmosphere!
This October, we’ll once again fill the concert hall and Zetlitz with rock fans and raw live music.

Stavanger Rockfest is back in 2026, following the success of the very first festival in October 2025. The festival came about after we had heard audiences saying for some time that they would love to see more concerts in Stavanger featuring heavier music – and we wanted to take them at their word. It went very well. The rock audience in North Jæren is large and dedicated, and the region is also home to a number of exciting and talented local bands within the genre. Zetlitz is also the perfect setting for a rock festival – indoors, dark, intimate and loud: ideal for rock and metal.

This year’s programme spans everything from black metal to punk, death metal and alternative rock. The region’s rock audience is generally both open-minded and curious, and we hope many of you will be inspired and excited by this year’s line-up too. See the full line-up below.

Festival passes are valid for both days. Day passes are also available at NOK 860 per day.
There will be a festival atmosphere in the foyer, and Spiseriet has promised to provide plenty of good food and drink to match.

ARTISTS

One of Norway’s most important rock bands, Gluecifer, are finally back with a brilliant new album and explosive live performances. As Aftenposten recently wrote: “This must be one of the biggest comebacks in Norwegian music history.”

Graveyard are a Swedish rock band from Gothenburg, known for their distinctive blend of hard rock, blues and psychedelic rock. With albums including Hisingen Blues, Lights Out, Peace and 6, they have established themselves as one of the leading names in modern, retro-inspired rock – renowned for their raw energy, heavy riffs and powerful live performances.

Slug Boys concerts always balance on the edge between post-punk elegance and total chaos. There is just as much chance of triumph as complete collapse.

Bölzer are a Swiss-Australian metal duo consisting of guitarist and vocalist Okoi Jones and drummer Fabian Wyrsch. Since 2008, they have created an intense and uncompromising sound using nothing but a ten-string guitar and ritualistic percussion.

Aktiv Dödshjelp are a Norwegian hardcore/punk band known for their energetic and aggressive style. The band are also known for humorous and provocative lyrics combined with a relentlessly intense musical approach.

Gehenna are a black metal band from Stavanger, known for their dark and atmospheric style. Throughout their career, the band have evolved from symphonic black metal towards a rawer and more aggressive sound.

Morax are known for dark atmospheres, powerful riffs and an intense live presence. The Norwegian band combines classic genre elements with a modern and melodic approach.

Feral Nature are a Norwegian hardcore/metal band known for their heavy, intense sound with a modern edge. The band combine brutal riffs with energetic vocals and have made their mark on the underground scene.

The Headlines are a Swedish punk’n’roll band from Malmö, known for their raw punk energy and rock’n’roll attitude. With a long list of releases and hundreds of international shows behind them, the band have established themselves as a formidable live act, with a sound that remains just as uncompromising and energetic as ever.

Skraeckoedlan have been delivering heavy, melodic fuzz rock since 2009, with Swedish-language lyrics about sci-fi, adventure and mythical aliens. Today, the sound is heavier, the fuzz even bigger and the melodies even more expansive – an increasingly epic and immersive universe built around their music.

Poor Bambi are a Norwegian noise rock and punk band from Stavanger, known for their explosive and intense live shows, where raw aggression meets melodic flair and a distinctive artistic expression. With an uncompromising and energetic approach to music, the trio have made their mark on the alternative scene through tours in Norway, festival appearances and shows in New York.

Karavan operate within the doom metal genre. They are known for atmospheric songs, strong melodies and lyrics that often take a personal and reflective approach.
