Information about Covid-19 and events
OUR CONCERT PROGRAM AND HOW IT IS AFFECTED BY COVID-19
UPDATE 16TH APRIL
Effective from 16th April 2021, stricter Covid-19 restrictions have been introduced on Nord-Jæren, which among other things, entails a ban on events.
Our events in the coming weeks will therefore not take place as planned. Some events will unfortunately be cancelled, others will be postponed.
In the event of a cancelled event, ticket buyers will receive a refund excl. fees. If an event is postponed, ticket buyers will in most cases have the choice between keeping their place on a new date or receive a refund excl. fees.
Ticket buyers will be contacted as soon as possible.
SAFETY MEASURES WHEN VISITING US
It is important to us, that you feel safe when visiting the Concert Hall during these times. Below is how we plan for your cultural experience to take place under safe conditions:
STAY HOME IF YOU FEEL SICK
If you have been in contact with infected people, are in quarantine, feel ill or have symptoms of illness, it is important that you stay at home.
AUDIENCE FROM OTHER MUNICIPALITIES
The government advises the public not to cross municipal boundaries to participate in cultural events.
If you come from another municipality and for that reason do not want to participate in an event for which you have purchased a ticket, you can contact us as soon as possible on telephone 51 53 70 00 (1) or by email to email@example.com and request a refund. We refund the ticket price excl. fees.
The public is asked to use the Concert Hall’s main entrance on arrival. We also encourage the public not to use the changing rooms.
Please remember to wash or disinfect your hands when you arrive. Hand sanitizer is available in several places in the foyer. Both toilets, tables / chairs and public areas are regularly and thoroughly washed.
CHILDREN UNDER 2 YEARS OLD
It has previously been allowed for children under 2 years to sit on the lap of an adult, without having to purchase a separate ticket for the child. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this scheme is no longer available. This is due to a maximum limit of audience members, and that we must know who and how many are present in our halls, and where each individual is sitting. Unfortunately, we cannot implement this scheme again until restrictions are reduced.
All concerts and performances are held in accordance with the restrictions and infection control rules set by the authorities. This applies for example to audience numbers, and the required distance between audience members. If you are with family or others in your “cohort”, you can sit closer.
The doors to each of our halls open no later than 20 minutes before the concert starts.
AFTER A CONCERT OR EVENT
After a concert or event, we will sometimes inform audience members to leave the Concert Hall via exits other than the main entrance. We do this to be able to carry out cleaning between events. This is also done to avoid “mass gatherings”, in an area with limited space.
More information about the details pertaining to each individual event is sent by text message to ticket holders. You will also be informed by our Concert Hall staff, upon arrival.
Thank you for visiting us and respecting infection control rules accordingly. We hope you enjoy your time in Stavanger Concert Hall!
CANCELED CONCERTS AND PERFORMANCES
In connection with Covid-19, we have strict restrictions on the number of audience members. It is also difficult for artists and ensembles from other countries to travel. This has led to many performances being canceled. When this happens, we will contact all ticket holders with information about refunds etc.
For concerts in Spiseriet, pre-purchased food and drink are only refunded upon cancellation.
Our Box Office is physically open on Thursdays from 12pm–7pm. Otherwise open when events take place. You can reach our Box Office by tel: 51 53 70 00 (Option 1) on Monday to Wednesday 10am–1pm, Thursday 10am–7pm and Friday 10am–1pm.
