Occasionally, something magical happens that reminds us we all have an inner child that needs nurturing. With simple, smart, and charming humor that goes straight to the heart, “The Boy” has created one of the most accessible and entertaining shows the world has ever seen. The less you know about this show, the better.

“The Boy with Tape on his Face,” or “Tape Face” as he now calls himself, is a character with universal appeal. He has become known for his fantastic humor, which he performs without saying a single word, as his mouth is covered with black gaffer tape. Tape Face, with his sweet, quirky, deep, and funny personality, transcends language and cultural barriers.

Sam Wills from New Zealand began his career as a street performer and hit the jackpot at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010. Since then, he has been filling theaters worldwide, including a month-long show in Las Vegas this summer and multiple shows in London’s West End. He has also toured Europe several times, shared the stage with Tim Minchin at the BBC Comedy Proms, performed at the annual Royal Variety Performance in London, and appeared on Jason Manford’s ITV’s Comedy Rocks. Sam Wills’ popularity exploded in recent years, especially after he became well-known to the masses when he ranked high on America’s Got Talent in 2016.
