The young pianist Martina Meola is among Martha Argerich’s favourites of the new generation – a distinction that speaks volumes about her exceptional talent. With a compelling musical presence, impressive technical command, and a striking maturity in her interpretations, she has already made a name for herself well beyond her years.

It is therefore a great pleasure to welcome Martina Meola to the Stavanger International Piano Festival in 2027. She has already been invited to perform at Martha Argerich’s own festival in Hamburg and has appeared on several of Europe’s leading stages.
