A TRIBUTE TO JONI MITCHELL

In 2023, Joni Mitchell turns 80. It’s been over 50 years since her debut album was released. To mark this, Anja Lauvdal and a magnificent orchestra are going on tour in April. The concert is a tribute to the iconic songwriter and artist Joni Mitchell. The premiere of the project took place during the Oslo Jazz Festival in 2018, and led to two sold-out concerts in Den Norske Opera & Ballett. After this, the star team with Frida Ånnevik, Susanna Wallumrød and Sondre Lerche followed up with sold-out concerts both at Kongsberg Jazzfestival and Nattjazz to name a few.
