The tempo slows as Tord Gustavsen invites the audience into a contemplative concert experience. Here, the depth of jazz meets elements of Scandinavian folk music, creating space for reflection and stillness.

Together with an international string quartet, he shapes a soundscape that is both open and deeply resonant. The music offers the audience a pause from the surrounding pace, allowing each detail to unfold in its own time. A subtle yet powerful experience towards the end of the summer program.

The concert is presented in collaboration with the Stavanger Art and Music Festival and is supported by Stavanger Municipality, Rogaland County Municipality, the Polish Embassy in Oslo, and LOT.
