Mikrokosmos plays timeless pop, rock, and funk with lyrics about everything from flying cows and walking on lava to dads doing ridiculously embarrassing things and days when everything just goes wrong.
Since their start in 2019, Mikrokosmos has performed everywhere from cultural centers and festivals to backyards, kindergartens, and gymnasiums. They have toured with the string quartet Vulkan Quartet (Upside Down) and illustrator Iben Sandemose (OSMOSMOSE). Their second album “Maybe a World We Don’t Know About” was nominated for a Spellemann Award, and now Mikrokosmos will perform songs from that album in a concert that is engaging for children and quite funny for adults.
Mikrokosmos consists of Pål Hausken, Shana Mathai, Jo Berger Myhre, and Åge Reite.
Recommended for: Ages 3–9 and their guardians
