THE ORGANIZATION
The Stavanger Concert Hall is a intermunicipal company, owned by the City of Stavanger and Rogaland County Council.
THE ORGAN
The Stavanger Concert Hall’s organ is extraordinary. The instrument has 4554 pipes and is tailored to Fartein Valen’s acoustics, and designed to play with the symphony orchestra.
SPISERIET – THE RESTAURANT
Spiseriet is the restaurant to bring friends and family to, before or after a concert, or just to enjoy good food and drinks in a beautiful surrounding.
STAVANGER SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
The Stavanger Concert Hall is home to The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO). The orchestra has become one of the most successful orchestras in Scandinavia, praised by audiences around the world.
HISTORY
Since 1982, The Stavanger Concert Hall has delivered events in all types of genres; shows and musicals, classical ballet and modern dance. In 2012, the new concert hall was opened.
